Voici quelques-unes des principales difficult\u00e9s propres \u00e0 ces milieux et les caract\u00e9ristiques que doit avoir le luminaire \u00e0 y installer. <\/p>\n<hr>\n<h4><strong>Poussi\u00e8re explosive<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>En milieu agricole, notamment les <a href=\"https:\/\/explosionburnlawyer.com\/what-causes-grain-elevator-explosions\/\">silos \u00e0 grains<\/a>, il y a un risque d\u2019explosion bien r\u00e9el lorsque les conditions propices sont r\u00e9unies. Ce sont en effet des espaces clos o\u00f9 la poussi\u00e8re s\u2019accumule en suspension dans l\u2019air. Par exemple, les c\u00e9r\u00e9ales produisent de la poussi\u00e8re lorsqu\u2019on les d\u00e9place. La poussi\u00e8re dans l\u2019air devient ainsi un m\u00e9lange combustible inflammable. Il suffit alors d\u2019une source d\u2019allumage pour que tout explose, par exemple l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 statique ou un simple interrupteur d\u2019\u00e9clairage. Comme l\u2019indique la revue <a href=\"https:\/\/canadianhogjournal.com\/2019\/06\/03\/mitigation-of-accelerated-deterioration-of-pig-buildings\/\">Canadian Hog Journal<\/a>, la plupart des porcheries sont compl\u00e8tement closes pour le confort des porcs, avec un syst\u00e8me de ventilation \u00e0 pression n\u00e9gative. La ventilation est encore plus r\u00e9duite durant les mois d\u2019hiver, pour conserver la chaleur. Les luminaires y sont donc plus expos\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019humidit\u00e9 et aux gaz corrosifs et pouss\u00e9s \u00e0 leurs limites.   <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Poulaillers<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Les poulaillers exigent aussi de faire des choix \u00e9clair\u00e9s! Non seulement la poussi\u00e8re a tendance \u00e0 s\u2019y accumuler comme on a vu dans les autres lieux, mais on y fait un nettoyage \u00e0 la vapeur destin\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00e9liminer les bact\u00e9ries et virus. Il faut donc un luminaire qui peut r\u00e9sister \u00e0 ce genre de nettoyage haute pression sans probl\u00e8me.  <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>Il ne manque pas de facteurs de danger dont il faut tenir compte en milieu agricole, et c\u2019est pourquoi il est important, pour la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de tout le monde, de s\u00e9lectionner les bons luminaires DEL adapt\u00e9s \u00e0 des milieux dangereux de ce genre.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Exigences d\u2019\u00e9clairage DEL pour les milieux dangereux<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Pour r\u00e9duire de beaucoup les risques d\u2019explosion et offrir paix d\u2019esprit \u00e0 votre client, il faut chercher un luminaire ayant les homologations suivantes :<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Homologation pour milieux dangereux<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Nous recommandons fortement d\u2019utiliser un luminaire imperm\u00e9able \u00e0 la vapeur, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire compl\u00e8tement scell\u00e9, afin d\u2019emp\u00eacher la poussi\u00e8re et les salet\u00e9s d\u2019entrer et de nuire au fonctionnement du luminaire ou de causer des explosions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>UL 844, classe II, division 2<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>L\u2019homologation UL 844, surtout <a href=\"http:\/\/thesocialdigitalmarketing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/RAB-SpecSheet-NMV-2021.pdf\">classe II, division 2, groupes F et G<\/a>, est un excellent crit\u00e8re \u00e0 avoir. Elle montre que le luminaire a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9valu\u00e9 et qu\u2019il peut r\u00e9sister aux atmosph\u00e8res o\u00f9 il y a de la poussi\u00e8re explosive. En installant dans les r\u00e8gles de l\u2019art un luminaire DEL homologu\u00e9 pour milieux dangereux, on \u00e9limine une source d\u2019allumage qui pourrait causer des explosions.  <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>NEMA 4X<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Pour les milieux hautement corrosifs comme les porcheries ou les conditions extr\u00eames comme le nettoyage \u00e0 la vapeur haute pression dans un poulailler, nous recommandons un luminaire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nemaenclosures.com\/enclosure-ratings\/nema-rated-enclosures\/nema-4x-enclosures.html\">homologu\u00e9 NEMA 4X<\/a>. L\u2019eau douce et l\u2019eau sal\u00e9e corrodent le m\u00e9tal avec le temps, mais la corrosion <a href=\"https:\/\/sciencing.com\/effects-saltwater-metals-8632636.html\">quintuple de vitesse en eau sal\u00e9e<\/a>. M\u00eame si le luminaire n\u2019est pas directement expos\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019eau, l\u2019humidit\u00e9 dans l\u2019air marin peut faire rouiller les m\u00e9taux 10 fois plus vite que dans un air normal. La corrosion peut alt\u00e9rer le fonctionnement et l\u2019apparence des appareils et en obliger le remplacement fr\u00e9quent.   <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Infiltration d\u2019eau<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Les luminaires sont aussi battus par les vagues et la pluie, ce qui augmente les risques d\u2019infiltration d\u2019eau. L\u2019infiltration, combin\u00e9e \u00e0 la rouille, augmente de beaucoup les risques de d\u00e9faillance pr\u00e9matur\u00e9e et le nombre de remplacements \u00e0 effectuer ainsi que leur co\u00fbt. Il faut choisir le bon luminaire pour les milieux marins, un qui aura la durabilit\u00e9 et la fiabilit\u00e9 n\u00e9cessaires et qui co\u00fbtera moins cher en entretien et en remplacement \u00e0 long terme.  <\/p>\n<hr>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Crit\u00e8res pour l\u2019\u00e9clairage<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Si vous d\u00e9sirez un luminaire capable de r\u00e9sister aux milieux marins difficiles, voici ce qu\u2019il faut chercher dans un souci de performance et de faible entretien.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Non m\u00e9tallique<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Un luminaire non m\u00e9tallique est excellent pour r\u00e9sister \u00e0 la corrosion et donc id\u00e9al pour les milieux marins. Ces luminaires ont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement un bo\u00eetier en polycarbonate renforc\u00e9 et non en m\u00e9tal. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Homologation UL pour milieu marin<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Une homologation <sup><a href=\"https:\/\/marks.ul.com\/about\/ul-listing-and-classification-marks\/appearance-and-significance\/marks-for-north-america\/\">UL pour milieu marin<\/a><\/sup> est aussi un crit\u00e8re de premi\u00e8re importance. Elle montre que le luminaire a fait l\u2019objet d\u2019essais rigoureux et qu\u2019il peut faire face aux conditions marines. Un milieu marin exige bien plus qu\u2019un luminaire adapt\u00e9 aux endroits humides, qui ne fera pas le poids face \u00e0 l\u2019intensit\u00e9 de l\u2019humidit\u00e9 qui y r\u00e8gne. L\u2019homologation est une preuve que le luminaire peut r\u00e9sister aux conditions marines difficiles comme les vibrations, les chocs, l\u2019infiltration d\u2019eau et la corrosion par embruns salins1.   <\/p>\n<p>1 UL Standard for Safety for Supplemental Requirements for Luminaires for Installation on Marine Vessels. ANSI\/UL, 4 d\u00e9cembre 2000. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>NEMA 4X<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nemaenclosures.com\/enclosure-ratings\/nema-rated-enclosures\/nema-4x-enclosures.html\">Le type 4X<\/a> offre un niveau sup\u00e9rieur de protection contre la corrosion et les environnements extr\u00eames; il est mis \u00e0 l\u2019essai pour r\u00e9sister \u00e0 un jet d\u2019eau au boyau. Les luminaires guident le travail des miniers et mettent en relief les objets sur lesquels ils pourraient tr\u00e9bucher. <\/p>\n<hr>\n<h4><strong>Chocs, chaleur et vibrations<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Les milieux miniers ont tendance \u00e0 maltraiter les luminaires typiques : l\u2019espace y est restreint et les vibrations, fr\u00e9quentes. Les luminaires dans les mines doivent \u00eatre robustes, compacts et durables. De plus, les temp\u00e9ratures dans les mines peuvent souvent d\u00e9passer 40 \u00b0C sans ventilation. Un luminaire DEL homologu\u00e9 pour milieux dangereux est bien adapt\u00e9 pour affronter sans accroc les temp\u00e9ratures extr\u00eames.   <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Explosions<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>La cause la plus courante d\u2019explosion dans une mine est l\u2019accumulation de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.livescience.com\/6298-coal-mines-explode.html\">m\u00e9thane combin\u00e9e <\/a>\u00e0 une source de chaleur. Le m\u00e9thane est un gaz hautement combustible et, s\u2019il y en a beaucoup dans l\u2019air, il ne faudra qu\u2019une petite source de chaleur pour d\u00e9clencher une explosion. Il devient donc particuli\u00e8rement important d\u2019avoir des luminaires fiables en milieu minier, parce qu\u2019on ne veut pas qu\u2019un circuit d\u00e9fectueux cause une r\u00e9action en cha\u00eene.  <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr>\n<h3><strong>Crit\u00e8res pour l\u2019\u00e9clairage<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>En raison de la nature dangereuse des mines, il existe des r\u00e8glements qui \u00e9tablissent les exigences \u00e0 respecter pour un luminaire DEL homologu\u00e9 pour les milieux dangereux. Voici les homologations \u00e0 rechercher : <\/p>\n<hr>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4><strong>Homologations UL classe I et classe II pour milieux dangereux <\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/RAB-SpecSheet-NMV-2021.pdf\">La classe I<\/a> couvre les atmosph\u00e8res de gaz explosifs et <a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/RAB-SpecSheet-NMV-2021.pdf\">la classe II<\/a>, les atmosph\u00e8res de poussi\u00e8re explosive, toutes les deux pr\u00e9sentes en milieu minier. Chaque classe a des divisions, elles-m\u00eames subdivis\u00e9es en groupes. Pour les milieux miniers, ce sont les groupes B, C et D de la division 2 de la classe I qu\u2019il faut chercher (atmosph\u00e8re contenant des gaz inflammables), en plus du groupe A (atmosph\u00e8re contenant de l\u2019ac\u00e9tyl\u00e8ne, un gaz utilis\u00e9 en soudage).
