Le lumen est l\u2019unit\u00e9 de mesure de la lumi\u00e8re produite par un luminaire : un nombre de lumens \u00e9lev\u00e9 correspond \u00e0 une lumi\u00e8re intense tandis qu\u2019un nombre de lumens faible correspond \u00e0 une lumi\u00e8re t\u00e9nue. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On peut estimer le nombre de lumens n\u00e9cessaires en calculant la superficie de la zone en m\u00e8tres carr\u00e9s, puis en multipliant ce nombre par le niveau d\u2019\u00e9clairement recommand\u00e9, exprim\u00e9 en lux, pour diff\u00e9rents espaces r\u00e9sidentiels et commerciaux courants : <\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_19808\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-19808\" style=\"width: 436px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.homedepot.com\/c\/ab\/lumens-per-square-foot\/9ba683603be9fa5395fab90379f1638\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thesocialdigitalmarketing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/MicrosoftTeams-image-5.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"436\" height=\"312\" class=\"size-full wp-image-23274\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wp-dev.rabdesign.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/MicrosoftTeams-image-5.png 436w, https:\/\/wp-dev.rabdesign.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/MicrosoftTeams-image-5-300x215.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 436px) 100vw, 436px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-19808\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><br \/>\nhttps:\/\/www.homedepot.com\/c\/ab\/lumens-per-square-foot\/9ba683603be9fa5395fab90379f1638<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Par exemple, si vous avez une chambre de 10 m\u00b2, il faudra de 1 000 \u00e0 2 000 lumens (10 \u00d7 100, 10 \u00d7 200). <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nrcan.gc.ca\/energy-efficiency\/energy-star-canada\/about\/energy-star-announcements\/publications\/learning-about-leds\/15476\">Fait int\u00e9ressant \u00e0 propos du lumen : pour chaque m\u00e8tre carr\u00e9 sur Terre, le soleil \u00e9met <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/kogalla.com\/blogs\/tech-trail\/how-many-lumens-is-the-sun\">127 000 lumens<\/a>. Mais ne regardez pas le soleil directement \u00e0 moins d\u2019avoir la protection n\u00e9cessaire!<\/span> <\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\">\u00c0 quoi renvoie la puissance?<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La puissance est un autre terme d\u2019\u00e9clairage courant qu\u2019on voit sur tous les luminaires. C\u2019est la quantit\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9nergie n\u00e9cessaire en watts pour que le luminaire produise son flux lumineux. Plus la puissance est \u00e9lev\u00e9e, plus la lumi\u00e8re produite est intense, mais si la puissance est \u00e9lev\u00e9e, les co\u00fbts d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 le seront tout autant. Dans la plupart des sc\u00e9narios, on veut le nombre de watts le plus bas possible pour obtenir le nombre de lumens d\u00e9sir\u00e9. Il est important de noter que les ampoules incandescentes et fluorescentes n\u00e9cessitent plus de watts pour produire la m\u00eame quantit\u00e9 de lumens qu\u2019une ampoule DEL.    <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Efficacit\u00e9 lumineuse<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L\u2019efficacit\u00e9 lumineuse est un terme qui int\u00e8gre puissance et lumens. Elle correspond \u00e0 la capacit\u00e9 d\u2019une source \u00e0 produire de la lumi\u00e8re visible et se calcule en lumens par watt. La plupart des produits portent une indication de leur efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9tant donn\u00e9 importance accrue de cette derni\u00e8re dans le monde d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui. N\u00e9anmoins, il reste tr\u00e8s simple de calculer l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 lumineuse d\u2019un produit. Il suffit en effet de diviser le total des lumens produits par le luminaire par la puissance n\u00e9cessaire pour atteindre ce total. Par exemple, le luminaire <a href=\"https:\/\/wp-dev.rabdesign.ca\/?post_type=product&#038;p=17662\">ORA4-LED80 de RAB<\/a> produit 8 827 lumens et a une puissance d\u2019entr\u00e9e de 78 W. Dans un contexte d\u2019efficacit\u00e9 am\u00e9lior\u00e9e des luminaires, les \u00c9tats-Unis devraient \u00e9conomiser 490 t\u00e9rawattheures d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 d\u2019ici 2035. C\u2019est pr\u00e8s du double de la quantit\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 qui pourrait \u00eatre produite par l\u2019\u00e9nergie solaire en 2035 selon l\u2019Energy Information Administration.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nrcan.gc.ca\/energy-efficiency\/energy-star-canada\/about\/energy-star-announcements\/publications\/learning-about-leds\/15476\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thesocialdigitalmarketing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/US-department-of-Energy-Picture-450x401-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"401\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-23277\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wp-dev.rabdesign.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/US-department-of-Energy-Picture-450x401-1.png 450w, https:\/\/wp-dev.rabdesign.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/US-department-of-Energy-Picture-450x401-1-300x267.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Selon le d\u00e9partement de l\u2019\u00c9nergie des \u00c9tats-Unis, les luminaires DEL blanc froid peuvent produire de 60 \u00e0 92 lm\/W, comparativement \u00e0 10 \u00e0 18 lm\/W pour les ampoules incandescentes et de 35 \u00e0 60 lm\/W pour les lampes fluocompactes. Cependant, les luminaires DEL de mauvaise qualit\u00e9 ne seront souvent pas bien meilleurs que les ampoules incandescentes.  <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Tension<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La tension repr\u00e9sente la pression exerc\u00e9e par une source d\u2019alimentation d\u2019un circuit \u00e9lectrique qui pousse le courant dans une boucle conductrice pour alimenter des appareils et se mesure en volts. Il y a deux types de tensions : courant alternatif (c.a. ou CA) et courant continu (c.c. ou CC). Le courant alternatif alterne entre des polarit\u00e9s positives et n\u00e9gatives, d\u2019o\u00f9 son nom, alors que le courant continu a toujours la m\u00eame polarit\u00e9, ou n\u00e9gative ou positive. Les tensions de courant alternatif les plus courantes en \u00e9clairage sont 120, 240, 277, 347 et 480 V. Les tensions 120-277, 120-347 et 347 V sont celles qu\u2019offrent la plupart des luminaires de RAB. La pile est un bon exemple de tension de courant continu, et les tensions de courant continu les plus courantes en \u00e9clairage sont 12 et 24 V.      <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Parmi les autres termes courants, notons la tension de ligne et la basse tension. La tension de ligne est la quantit\u00e9 de tension qu\u2019une ligne \u00e9lectrique livre \u00e0 sa destination ou au point o\u00f9 elle est consomm\u00e9e; en \u00e9clairage, on la consid\u00e8re comme une tension de courant alternatif. En Am\u00e9rique du Nord, le 120 VCA est ce qui est le plus fr\u00e9quemment utilis\u00e9 en milieu r\u00e9sidentiel; le 277 V est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement utilis\u00e9 en milieu commercial alors que le 347 ou le 480 V prime en milieu industriel. Enfin, la basse tension est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement d\u00e9finie comme \u00e9tant 50 V ou moins; la plupart du temps, en \u00e9clairage, la basse tension est une tension de courant continu. L\u2019\u00e9clairage paysager et l\u2019\u00e9clairage sous armoire sont des exemples n\u00e9cessitant une basse tension.     <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Indice de rendu des couleurs (IRC)<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L\u2019IRC mesure l\u2019apparence des couleurs sous une source lumineuse par rapport \u00e0 la couleur observ\u00e9e sous la lumi\u00e8re du soleil. L\u2019indice varie de 0 \u00e0 100; 100 signifiant que la couleur sera exactement la m\u00eame sous le luminaire que sous le soleil; c\u2019est une correspondance parfaite \u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re naturelle. R\u00e8gle g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, plus l\u2019indice est \u00e9lev\u00e9, mieux les couleurs ressortiront sous le luminaire. C\u2019est un point de tr\u00e8s grande importance \u00e0 consid\u00e9rer pour les commerces de d\u00e9tail et les mus\u00e9es parce qu\u2019on veut mettre bien en valeur les objets \u00e9clair\u00e9s.   <\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thesocialdigitalmarketing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/CRI-450x325-1.png\" alt=\"Lighting term-colour rendering index\" width=\"450\" height=\"325\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-23278\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wp-dev.rabdesign.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/CRI-450x325-1.png 450w, https:\/\/wp-dev.rabdesign.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/CRI-450x325-1-300x217.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Temp\u00e9rature de couleur<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La temp\u00e9rature de couleur d\u00e9crit l\u2019apparence d\u2019une lumi\u00e8re \u00e9mise. Elle se mesure en degr\u00e9s Kelvin (K). Dans la plupart des cas, elle varie de 2 700 K \u00e0 6 500 K. Plus la temp\u00e9rature de couleur est basse, plus la lumi\u00e8re sera jaune ou \u00ab chaude \u00bb. \u00c0 l\u2019inverse, plus la temp\u00e9rature de couleur est \u00e9lev\u00e9e, plus la lumi\u00e8re sera bleut\u00e9e ou \u00ab froide \u00bb. \u00c0 titre indicatif, il est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement reconnu que 6 500 K est le meilleur \u00e9quivalent de la lumi\u00e8re du jour.      <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La temp\u00e9rature de couleur est primordiale au moment de planifier tout projet d\u2019\u00e9clairage. Une temp\u00e9rature de couleur chaude rend l\u2019endroit plus chaleureux et accueillant tandis qu\u2019une temp\u00e9rature de couleur froide \u00e9clairera plus et sera plus stimulante. Un bureau est un exemple parfait de lieu pour les temp\u00e9ratures de couleur froides, tout le contraire des restaurants qui pr\u00e9f\u00e9reront des temp\u00e9ratures de couleur chaudes. Tout d\u00e9pend aussi du type de boutique \u00e0 \u00e9clairer. Une bijouterie a int\u00e9r\u00eat \u00e0 choisir des temp\u00e9ratures tr\u00e8s brillantes pour mettre en valeur les diamants en vente. Il existe deux normes reconnues pour les types de distributions : NEMA et IESNA. Du c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la NEMA, la distribution est d\u00e9finie par les composantes horizontale et verticale du faisceau produit. C\u2019est un point tr\u00e8s important pour les projecteurs et les luminaires pour grandes surfaces. Ce sont ces formes qui dictent habituellement la conception des luminaires pour grandes surfaces et l\u2019\u00e9clairage des routes.
